SGS is seeking an HSE Officer to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS). The role ensures compliance with international standards and regional regulations while driving safety performance across maritime and underwater services.

You will administer the SMS, collaborate with directors, and lead initiatives to improve procedures, training, audits, and incident investigations.

Formación

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Marine Operations, or related discipline.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate preferred.
• Data management, analysis and visualization experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Help develop, implement and continually improve the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS).
• Maintain currency and accuracy of HSE policies, standards and manuals.
• Develop Safe Work Procedures for common tasks.
• Capture and process HSE and training data; track and report KPI targets.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews and 3rd party assessments.
• Lead incidents investigations and management of corrective actions.
• Administer Absorb LMS and corporate training programs.
• Coordinate with regional offices on HSE initiatives and documentation.
• Prepare reports for the Director and stakeholders to inform decisions.
