Job summary

SGS SINGAPORE DIVING PTE. LTD. is seeking an HSE Officer to support the development, implementation and continual improvement of the HSEMS for maritime diving operations in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance with IMCA, ISO 45001, OSHA, IMO and local regulations while promoting best practices across regions. Responsibilities include managing HSE policies and training data, coordinating audits, incident investigations, and emergency readiness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Marine Operations, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the maritime/underwater services industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA, IMCA, IMO, MoM and regional regulatory bodies is preferred.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of the HSEMS to ISO certifications.
• Manage HSE policies, standards, and manuals to ensure currency.
• Develop Safe Work Procedures for common tasks.
• Track HSE/Training data, dashboards, and reporting to keep information current.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions across regions.
• Coordinate emergency readiness programs and monthly audits/inspections.
