Job summary
INTELLIPRO SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer to design, install and commission marine electrical systems for offshore vessels.
You will prepare schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, E-plan), and lead testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of shipboard systems. The role requires strong knowledge of IEC 60092, IEEE marine standards and ASME codes, familiarity with ABS, DNV, Lloyds Register, and willingness to travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in marine shipbuilding or offshore engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical standards (IEC 60092, IEEE marine standards) and ASME codes.
- Familiarity with classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyds Register).
- Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of shipboard systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, install, and commission electrical and instrumentation systems for marine vessels.
- Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD tools.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of shipboard electrical/instrument systems.
- Collaborate with shipyard teams, naval architects, and project managers to meet project milestones.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
