Job summary

IntelliPro Group Inc. is seeking an Electrical & Instrument Engineer – Marine & Shipbuilding in Singapore to design, install and commission shipboard electrical and instrumentation systems.

You will ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE marine standards and ASME codes, and prepare schematics and layouts using CAD tools. Responsibilities include testing, calibration, and collaboration with shipyard teams to meet milestones while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in marine shipbuilding or offshore engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical standards (IEC 60092, IEEE marine standards) and ASME codes.
• Familiarity with classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, E‑plan) and instrumentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and commission electrical and instrumentation systems for marine vessels.
• Ensure compliance with marine industry standards, ASME codes, and classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation layouts using CAD tools.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of shipboard electrical/instrument systems.
• Collaborate with shipyard teams, naval architects, and project managers to meet project milestones.
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
