Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in marine or electrical engineering.
• Background in control systems, automation, mechatronics, or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of programming experience (Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Familiarity with industrial automation or PLC systems.
• Interest in system testing, simulation environments, and hardware integration.
• Experience in engineering product development, digital twins, or real-time marine vessel dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments to test and validate shipboard components, control strategies, and automation systems for emerging maritime technologies.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and industrial controllers with HIL test platforms
• Build automated test cases to validate system performance and fault scenarios
• Support new business opportunities by developing testing platforms and translating into operational tools or commercial services
