Job summary

Kuok Group Singapore invites an Automation Engineer specialized in Marine Automation & Cloud Systems to join our multidisciplinary team. You will design and test marine control systems, develop cloud infrastructure for AI-driven vessel analytics, and bridge shipboard operations with digital intelligence.

The successful candidate will work across PLC programming, HMI development, MATLAB simulations, and cloud data architectures using AWS/Azure, Python, Java and C to deliver robust, scalable

Qualifications

Proven experience in PLC programming and control system modeling.
Hands-on experience with commercial cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and the design of data architectures.
Proficiency in Python, Java, and C.
Demonstrated experience in building web-based GUIs for data visualization.

Responsibilities

Marine Automation & Control Systems: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC programs for marine vessel automation systems.
Cloud Architecture & AI for Performance Analytics: Architect and manage scalable cloud environments for vessel performance analytics and remote condition monitoring.
Software Development & Integration: Develop web-based GUIs to visualize shipboard system data and AI-derived insights.
