Job summary

NACOS Marine in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer - Design to join our team. You will contribute to the design, documentation and delivery of automation and control systems for complex maritime applications, working with engineers, project managers and customers to ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables.

You will be responsible for drawings, HMI design, design reviews and risk assessments, while travelling internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience with EPLAN and SolidWorks for design and documentation.
• Excellent proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and high-quality project documentation, drawings, and HMI designs for OT systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement technical solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Evaluate and advise on design modifications and assess potential technical or cost implications.
• Contribute to project planning and ensure timely completion of design-related deliverables.
• Participate in internal project meetings, design reviews, and milestone discussions.
• Ensure compliance with internal and customer-specific quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards.
• Support colleagues with technical input and resolve design-related challenges promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality in all project-related matters, particularly in Naval contracts.
• Willingness to travel internationally for design coordination, testing, or customer engagements.
