Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Procurement and Tender Specialist to build relationships with clients and brokers, evaluate enquiries, and prepare cost estimates.

You will issue RFPs/RFQs to suppliers and coordinate clarifications to ensure accurate pricing and on-time submissions. Coordinate tender documentation, assess quotations for compliance and competitiveness, and support contract negotiations to deliver equipment and project requirements efficiently.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Marine industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and brokers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Receive and evaluate enquiries and tender documents, reviewing specifications to develop accurate cost estimates based on the standard costing structure.
• Prepare and issue RFPs and RFQs to equipment and material suppliers, and coordinate clarifications as needed.
• Assess supplier quotations to ensure compliance with tender specifications while achieving competitive pricing.
• Compile exchange rates, material and labour costs to develop cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed costing and pricing proposals for review and timely submission.
• Identify critical equipment and system requirements and perform preliminary risk assessments.
• Coordinate and consolidate tender documentation from internal stakeholders for full compliance and timely submission.
• Support the preparation of tender review reports and cash flow projections where required.
• Participate in contract discussions and commercial negotiations as needed.
• Assist in procurement and contracting of equipment and materials.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, brokers, suppliers and partners.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of equipment and project requirements.
• Support post-project evaluations by gathering lessons learned and post-mortem information.
