Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in SCM or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in marine/shipping sectors.
• Knowledge of marine spare parts and supplier sourcing practices.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure marine equipment, spare parts, consumables, and vessel supplies.
• Obtain quotations from approved vendors and compare pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders on time.
• Liaise with vessel personnel and internal teams to clarify specs and priorities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for timely deliveries.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier data in the system.
• Evaluate supplier performance on price, quality, and delivery reliability.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
• Assist with invoice verification and resolve pricing/delivery discrepancies.
