Job summary

AVENTA is seeking a Technical Ship Superintendent in Singapore to take full technical and financial ownership of a group of vessels in Asia. You will manage budgets, dry-docks, surveys, and client support, ensuring ISM/HSE compliance and certificate validity.

The role requires sea-going or superintendent experience, a Master or Chief Engineer certificate or marine engineering degree, and strong knowledge of ISM, class and flag rules. Travel across Asia is expected.

Qualifications

• Master or Chief Engineer certificate or marine engineering degree.
• Sea-going and/or superintendent experience.
• Dry-dock experience, ideally in Asian yards.
• Knowledge of ISM, class and flag rules.
• Fluent English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical condition and budget of your vessels.
• Prepare and supervise dry-docks and port-call works.
• Organise class and flag surveys, and keep certificates valid.
• Visit vessels and drive ISM and HSE compliance.
• Report technical and financial status monthly.
