Job summary

Internetwork Expert in Singapore is seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee the safe, reliable and cost-efficient operation of assigned vessels. You will manage day-to-day technical operations, maintenance, dry-docking projects, regulatory compliance and budget adherence while supporting vessel management teams.

The role requires a degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture, with Chief Engineer Unlimited CoC highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent maritime discipline.
• Chief Engineer Unlimited (STCW III/2) CoC is highly preferred.
• 3–5 years sea-going experience as Chief Engineer / 1st Assistant Engineer, or 2+ years onshore as Technical Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel operations, maintenance, and PMS to ensure reliability.
• Plan, budget, and supervise dry-docking, repairs, and shipyard work.
• Ensure compliance with ISM/ISM, MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS and Classification Society rules.
• Prepare and monitor operational budgets; review technical POs and variances.
• Lead safety initiatives, root-cause analyses, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor Chief Engineers and shipboard staff with technical guidance.
