Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the commercial team in the marine industry. You will coordinate sales activities, manage customer inquiries, and prepare quotations while ensuring smooth communication between customers, suppliers and internal teams.

You will work with the sales group to handle orders, follow-ups, and documentation, and help maintain CRM records. Strong communication, organisation, and customer-focus are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Maritime Studies, Engineering or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of sales coordination, sales support or customer service experience, preferably within marine/shipping/offshore.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with daily commercial and administrative activities.
• Handle customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals, reports and other relevant documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM/system.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations, orders and deliveries.
• Assist the sales team in developing and maintaining relationships with shipowners, ship managers and shipyards.
• Coordinate service appointments, deliveries and other operational requirements where necessary.
• Monitor sales orders and ensure customer requirements are communicated effectively.
• Provide general sales support to ensure the smooth running of commercial operations.
