Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a field service technician to service, inspect, test, and repair marine and safety-related equipment.

The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and equipment-related issues, and performing preventive maintenance at customer sites. Responsibilities include preparing service reports, maintaining records, and providing technical support to customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Nitec / Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
• Experience in equipment servicing, maintenance or troubleshooting is preferred.
• Comfortable working at customer sites and handling field service activities.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, inspection, testing and repair of marine and safety-related equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for mechanical, pneumatic and equipment-related issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing at customer sites.
• Perform functional checks to ensure equipment is operating safely and properly.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records after completing service work.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers when required.
