Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant marine or onboard service experience.
• Diploma holder in a relevant field.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance preferred.
• Candidates with less experience but strong learning aptitude may be considered.
• Willing to travel for work.
• Must be able to speak Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Service representatives for engines and pump makers.
• Install, commission, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair onboard equipment.
• Attend vessels to provide field technical service and emergency support.
• Assist commissioning and sea trials; verify engine performance.
• Prepare service reports, inspection records and technical docs.
• Advise customers on maintenance intervals and equipment condition.
• Assist spare-parts identification and technical recommendations.
• Investigate recurring failures; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, project and service teams to resolve issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per manufacturer procedures.
• Support upgrades, modifications and retrofit projects when needed.
• Maintain records of service activities, parts, tools, and equipment.
• Travel domestically and internationally for vessel attendance and support.
• Participate in on-call or emergency duties when required.
