Qualifications

• Experience in ship chandling, marine, or shipping industries preferred.
• Experience handling technical purchasing and marine spare parts is advantageous.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Familiar with procurement processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing for marine provisions and technical supplies.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for price, quality, and delivery.
• Prepare and process POs based on vessel requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, warehouse, and internal teams.
• Handle urgent purchasing requests to meet vessel schedules.
• Monitor order status and resolve supply issues.
• Verify supplier quotations, invoices, and orders.
• Maintain procurement records and update systems.
• Support inventory control and replenishment of marine stores.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Perform ad-hoc procurement duties as assigned.
