seeks a CAD Engineer (Structural) to prepare detailed shop, fabrication, and production drawings for marine and offshore projects, working with engineering, production and construction teams to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery. Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Marine or Structural Engineering, 3+ years in marine/offshore or related heavy industry, and proficiency in AutoCAD; AVEVA Marine or Tekla Structures

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Marine or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in marine/offshore or related heavy engineering.
Experience with fabrication drawings and welding details.
Proficient in AutoCAD; AVEVA Marine or Tekla knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed shop, fabrication, assembly, and production drawings based on project specifications and approved designs.
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
Develop and maintain Material Take-Off and nesting plans.
Prepare and revise drawings to incorporate design changes and client comments.
Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and proper documentation.
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Construction to resolve drawing-related issues.
Provide drawing clarification and technical support to fabrication and construction teams.
Support project execution with timely issuance of drawings and documentation.
Participate in project reviews and process improvements.
