Job summary

DIRECT SEARCH ASIA PTE. LTD. seeks a Project Engineer to drive Green Tech retrofit projects at sea. You will conduct onboard site surveys, perform 3D laser scanning, supervise installations, and support commissioning and sea trials with meticulous attention to safety and quality.

You will plan and coordinate activities, liaise with shipowners, Class Societies, OEMs, and yards, review drawings, material lists and technical specs, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with retrofit projects for marine systems (ESDs, BWMS, EGCS).
• Coordination with shipowners, OEMs, shipyards, and Class Societies.
• Ability to review drawings, material lists, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of Green Tech retrofit projects on ships.
• Conduct onboard site surveys and 3D laser scanning.
• Attend commissioning, testing and sea trials as required.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities for timely execution.
• Coordinate with stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation and material requisitions.
