We are seeking a Marine Engineer (Shore-Base) to manage the technical operations of our offshore vessel fleet from our Singapore office. This role focuses on dry-docking, planned maintenance, and compliance with international maritime standards. It is a land-based position with no sailing duties.
Plan and supervise vessel dry-docking, repairs, and shipyard activities.
Implement and monitor Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) across the fleet.
Ensure compliance with classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register) and international safety codes (ISM / ISPS / MLC).
Review and approve engineering purchase requests, ensuring cost control.
Prepare technical reports, performance evaluations, and root-cause analyses.
Coordinate with ship crews and shore stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of shore-based marine engineering or technical management experience.
Certifications in Dry-Docking, Technical Asset Management, or Project Management preferred.
Proficiency in PMS and engineering software (AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Maxsurf).
Strong knowledge of classification society rules and international safety codes.
Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and technical troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
