Job summary

JUB PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a shore-based Marine Engineer to oversee the technical operations of our offshore vessel fleet from the Singapore office.

The role focuses on dry-docking, planned maintenance, and compliance with international standards, with no sailing duties. The candidate will manage dry-docking plans, implement PMS across the fleet, ensure compliance with ABS/DNV/L.R. rules and ISM/ISPS/MLC codes, and review engineering purchases while coordinating with crews and shore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of shore-based marine engineering or technical management experience.
• Certifications in Dry-Docking, Technical Asset Management, or Project Management preferred.
• Proficiency in PMS and engineering software (AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Maxsurf).
• Strong knowledge of classification society rules and international safety codes.
• Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise vessel dry-docking, repairs, and shipyard activities.
• Implement and monitor Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) across the fleet.
• Ensure compliance with classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyd's Register) and international safety codes (ISM / ISPS / MLC).
• Review and approve engineering purchase requests, ensuring cost control.
• Prepare technical reports, performance evaluations, and root‑cause analyses.
• Coordinate with ship crews and shore stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
