Job summary

V-BUNKERS TANKERS PTE. LTD. seeks a qualified ETO to operate and maintain electrical and electronic systems aboard our vessels.

You will manage main and emergency switchboards, generators, transformers, and power distribution panels, while monitoring engine room sensors and alarms. You will also oversee bridge electronics, GMDSS equipment, GPS, radars, and navigational lights; diagnose faults; and perform emergency or preventive repairs across deck, engine and accommodation spaces, working

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Marine Engineering.
• ETO Certificate of Competency required.
• STCW Basic Safety Training and specialized endorsements.
• Seafarer medical fitness certificate per IMO standards.
• Good vision and color discrimination for wiring and alarms.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain main and emergency switchboards, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, and power distribution panels.
• Responsible for engine room monitoring sensors, alarm systems, and automated machinery
• Maintain bridge electronics, GMDSS equipment, GPS, radars, and navigational lights
• Diagnose electrical or electronic faults and execute emergency or preventive repairs across deck, engine, and accommodation spaces
• Work under the Chief Engineer as part of the engineering department, cooperating with both deck and shore-based technicians
