Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Ship Repairs (Gul) to supervise day-to-day vessel conversion and repair projects at 55 Gul Road. The role requires hands-on leadership, coordination with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with class and client specifications.

Candidates should hold a degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years of marine industry experience; knowledge of ship electrical and control systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of electrical operations experience in marine industry.
• Knowledge of ship electrical systems, control systems and class requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day project supervision for vessel conversion and repairs.
• Ensure work is carried out effectively to meet customer specifications.
• Deploy manpower and material resources efficiently in the department.
• Liaise with other departments on daily production schedules.
• Assist in planning department manpower projections and weekly deployment.
