Job summary

Fortitude Partnership PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Marine Cargo insurance professional to manage a growing portfolio of corporate clients. This role combines client management with new-business development within the Marine Cargo and related risk practices.

You will leverage the group's regional expertise in cargo, commodities, credit risk and P&I to tailor solutions for manufacturers, traders and logistics providers, while leading renewals and insurer negotiations.

Qualifications

• Ideally 6+ years' experience in Marine Cargo insurance, broking or underwriting.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine cargo placements, international transit and supply-chain exposures.
• Demonstrated experience managing corporate clients, renewals and insurer negotiations.
• Commercially confident, client-focused and comfortable developing new business.
• Established Singapore and/or South-East Asia insurer-market relationships would be advantageous.
• Relevant insurance qualifications are preferred.
• Must be authorised to work in Singapore without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of corporate Marine Cargo clients.
• Lead end-to-end renewals, including risk information gathering, market submissions, insurer negotiations, placement and policy documentation.
• Advise clients on cargo, transit, stock-throughput, logistics, commodities and broader supply-chain risks.
• Develop tailored solutions for manufacturers, traders, logistics businesses, freight forwarders and other internationally active corporates.
• Act as a primary point of contact for client enquiries and claims matters, coordinating effectively with insurers and internal specialists.
• Build strong insurer relationships and secure competitive terms and coverage for clients.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across related P&C and specialty lines, including credit and political-risk solutions where appropriate.
• Proactively develop new business and contribute to the growth of the local and regional Marine Cargo practice.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all placements and administration meet regulatory and internal requirements.
