Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking an Automation Engineer (Marine Automation & Cloud Systems) to bridge shipboard operations with digital intelligence. You will design and test robust marine control systems and architect cloud infrastructure to deploy AI-driven solutions.

Ideal candidates have PLC programming, cloud experience (AWS/Azure), and strong Python/Java/C skills, with a focus on GUI-based data visualization and decarbonization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant disciplines.
• Proven PLC programming and control system modeling experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure and data architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and C.
• Experience building web-based GUIs for data visualization.
• Keen on maritime decarbonization and prototype validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC programs for marine vessel automation.
• Design and test control system modeling and simulations using MATLAB.
• Program and optimize HMI for real-time data visualization.
• Architect and manage scalable cloud environments for vessel analytics.
• Deploy data pipelines and AI-driven performance models.
• Develop web GUIs to visualize shipboard data and AI insights.
• Write code in Python, Java, and C for prototypes and applications.
