The Marketing Intern supports the Marketing Communications Department in the planning and execution of the Club's marketing, communications, branding, sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. He / She will gain hands‑on experience across marketing, events, digital communications, publications, design coordination and administrative functions while contributing to the promotion of The Singapore Island Country Club. Students and fresh graduates who are looking to gain practical work experience, industry exposure and a better understanding of marketing and communications are welcome to apply. Minimum commitment of 3 months.
Assist in the coordination and production of marketing collaterals, including posters, banners, flyers, notices, digital screens and other promotional materials.
Support the updating of content on the Club's website, mobile app and other digital platforms.
Assist in the preparation, proofreading and coordination of editorial content for the Islander magazine, eDMs and other Club publications.
Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of Club events, activations and promotional campaigns.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather information, marketing requirements and event details for publicity and promotional purposes.
Assist in photography, videography and the creation of social media and digital content during Club events where required.
Support the maintenance of the Club's digital asset library, including photographs, videos, artwork and marketing collateral.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities and potential partnership opportunities to support marketing initiatives.
Assist in monitoring and updating marketing schedules, production timelines and project trackers.
Provide administrative support to the MarCom Department, including preparing meeting materials, maintaining records, processing purchase requests and coordinating with vendors where required.
Ensure all marketing materials and communications are consistent with the Club's branding guidelines and corporate identity.
Perform any other duties or projects assigned by the Director of Marketing Communications or the MarCom team from time to time.
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Business, Media, Public Relations, Hospitality or a related discipline.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign) or video editing software is an advantage.
