Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Utility Technician for the Jurong location with hands-on experience in manufacturing utilities. You will maintain mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support energy efficiency initiatives across facility operations.

The role requires a diploma in mechanical or electrical trades and 2–3 years in utilities/facilities, with independent troubleshooting capabilities for boiler, chiller, and compressors. WWTP exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical with 2–3 years of relevant experience in utilities/facilities.
• Manufacturing, pharmaceutical or chemical plant industry experience is essential.
• Able to work independently as first point of contact for troubleshooting boiler, chiller, compressor.
• WWTP experience is desirable.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Good communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems equipment.
• Assist with modification of building equipment and systems - boiler, chiller, cooling tower, air compressor, HVAC and WWTP.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials to complete repairs; track completion in systems.
• Support energy management and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools for work orders.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
