Job summary

WEST PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Facilities Engineer to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot plant utility systems, ensuring continuous and compliant operations.

You will handle preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, boilers, AHUs, water systems and electrical distribution, while following GMP, safety and permit-to-work processes. Strong teamwork and adaptability are essential for shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of facilities and utilities maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Able to work on shifts and respond to emergencies when required.
• Preferred EMA Electrical License; Boilerman license advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical utilities and facility equipment such as chillers, boilers, and air compressor systems.
• Carry out hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of cooling towers, AHUs, pumps, and other HVAC systems.
• Oversee Water Treatment Plant operations and ensure PW, WFI, CSG, and RO systems stay within spec.
• Work with electrical distribution systems; understand HT/LT switchgear, transformers, MCCBs, relays.
• Maintain accurate documentation, logbooks, SOPs, and maintenance records.
• Manage contractors and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health requirements and permit-to-work systems.
