Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a capable facilities technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot plant utilities and equipment at our Singapore site. The role focuses on ensuring continuous, compliant operations across critical utility systems and HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on chillers, boilers, AHUs, and water treatment processes, with emphasis on safety, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ facilities and utilities maintenance experience.
• Able to work in shifts and respond to emergencies.
• EMA Electrical License preferred; Boilerman License advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, boilers, and air compressors.
• Troubleshoot cooling towers, AHUs, pumps, and other HVAC systems.
• Monitor Water Treatment PW/WFI/CSG/RO systems within specs.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and maintenance records.
• Manage contractors and ensure compliance with WSH and permit-to-work.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and plant shutdown activities.
