Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a manufacturing support professional to assist engineers in technical tasks across multiple areas. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting production processes.

The role involves following SOPs, understanding chemical safety, and contributing to continuous improvement in cycle-time, yield, and quality. Day shift, full-time with opportunities to work on diverse testing and analysis projects in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Basic understanding of chemical principles and safety protocols.
Basic to advanced troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of technical support duties in manufacturing, assisting engineers.
Assist in selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; support production/fabrication processes and troubleshooting.
Develop, improve and optimize standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment (cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety, compliance).
Assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals and other ingredients used in manufacturing.
Use layout plans and manuals to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment; perform maintenance and repairs.
Collaborate with engineers to test and resolve issues in components, parts, products or processes/systems.
Compile and maintain applicable documentation; may design/build tools.
