Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a manufacturing support professional to assist engineers in technical tasks across multiple areas. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting production processes.

The role involves following SOPs, understanding chemical safety, and contributing to continuous improvement in cycle-time, yield, and quality. Day shift, full-time with opportunities to work on diverse testing and analysis projects in a dynamic lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical support duties in manufacturing, assisting engineers.
• Assist in selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; support production/fabrication processes and troubleshooting.
• Develop, improve and optimize standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment (cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety, compliance).
• Assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals and other ingredients used in manufacturing.
• Use layout plans and manuals to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment; perform maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers to test and resolve issues in components, parts, products or processes/systems.
• Compile and maintain applicable documentation; may design/build tools.

• Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
• Duties may be related to the selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving.
• Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance.

• May use layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals and rough sketches or drawings to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.
• Works with engineers to develop, execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products or processes/systems.
• Compiles and maintains applicable documentation.
• May design and/or build tools.
