Job summary

Agilent Technologies Singapore is seeking a technically capable team member to support manufacturing operations in daily technical tasks and collaboration with engineers. You will assist in the selection, installation, maintenance, repair, and support of manufacturing equipment, as well as testing and troubleshooting of processes.

Strong attention to SOPs and basic chemical safety knowledge are required. This full-time role is based on a Day shift in Singapore, with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical support duties across manufacturing areas in collaboration with engineers.

• Compile and maintain documentation and assist in tool design or build as needed.

• Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
• Duties may be related to the selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving.
• Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance.
• May assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals and other ingredients used in the manufacturing process.
• May use layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals and rough sketches or drawings to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.
• Works with engineers to develop, execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products or processes/systems.
• Compiles and maintains applicable documentation.
• May design and/or build tools.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Higher Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Biomedical/Biotech/Chemistry/Electrical or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic understanding of chemical principles and safety protocols.
• Basic to advanced troubleshooting skills.
