Pratt & Whitney in Singapore is seeking an operator for Wire-EDM machines to set up, run, and maintain production equipment. You will read SOPs, perform risk assessments, and contribute to lean 6S and safety programs while supporting cross‑functional manufacturing processes.
The role requires NITEC in a relevant field and 2 years of EDM/CMM experience, with hands‑on capabilities and willingness to work permanent night shifts and overtime when needed.

Set up, operate and maintain Wire-EDM Machines
Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
Read and follow established procedures and work instructions.
Perform risk assessment and take corrective actions as well as preventive measures.
Maintain day to day 6S lean activities to create a safe work environment.
Work cross functional to support the various manufacturing processes.
Participate in the EH&S programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
Support the continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2 years of relevant experience in EDM / CMM machine Operation and Maintenance experience.
2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or Machining.
Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with the tools and equipment.
Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
Willing to work permanent night shift and overtime on need basis.
EDM machining skills and knowledge.
Relevant experience in operating CMM measurement machines.
Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience.
