Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. East Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a 1-year contract.

You will build, repair, assemble and test electrical and electro‑mechanical components and subassemblies using work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams. You will perform troubleshooting, use test equipment such as electronic measuring tools and leak detectors, inspect parts for defects and ensure parts are available before assembly or testing.

Qualifications

• Min Nitec level.
• Semiconductor, Electronics Manufacturing, Engineering background welcome
• Training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, assemble and test electrical and electro‑mechanical components, assemblies and subassemblies using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and instructions.
• Troubleshooting and repairs; identify issues and make necessary corrections.
• Use test equipment such as electronic measuring tools, leak detectors, vacuum pumps and test fixtures to test components and assemblies.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure all required parts are available before assembly, testing or repair.
• Record work progress, labour details and other relevant information in the computer system.
• Complete and document finished work accurately.
• Assist in improving work and testing processes.
• Follow all safety, health and security procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Attend required safety training and use equipment and protective gear appropriately.
