Job summary

BD in Singapore is seeking an experienced production supervisor to oversee high-volume manufacturing on the Tuas plant floor. You will manage daily outputs, drive 5S/Lean practices, and coach technicians across day and night shifts.

The role requires leadership, strong people skills, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, with a focus on continuous improvement and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Supervisory and leadership experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Manufacturing production line of high volume.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to meet production output and quality targets.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning and servicing.
• Troubleshoot machines and tools to meet safety and quality standards.
• Changeover lines via tool/die change and setup.
• Initiate, implement and follow up on machine enhancements and projects.
• Write standard work instructions for assigned operation.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions and participate in CI activities.
• Assist Engineers and SMEs in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and coach Technicians and new hires on operations and adjustments.
