Job summary

MFB PRODUCTS ASIA PTE LTD is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations in Singapore. You will oversee production teams, monitor quality, safety, and efficiency, and ensure adherence to SOPs and production schedules.

You will coordinate with design and engineering to roll out production, mentor operators, conduct safety briefings, and drive continuous improvement across the plant while maintaining high standards of quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and safety regulations.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all manufacturing activities on the production floor to achieve daily output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials according to the production schedule.
• Monitor workflow, machine utilization, and process conditions to prevent delay or downtime.
• Coordinate with Design and Engineering teams for the timely rollout of production.
• Ensure production processes follow approved SOPs, production standards, and customer specifications.
• Conduct in-process quality assurance and quality for parts deviations and to take immediate action.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Liaise with Design and QC teams for inspections, audits, and documentation updates.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop operators and service and assembly personnel to work efficiently on the job assignments.
• Conduct toolbox and safety briefings on the daily production targets, safety reminders, and operational updates.
• Enforce workplace discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
• Facilitate proper handover between each stage of the production to ensure smooth operation.
• Enforce compliance with plant safety rules, PPE requirements and safe work procedures.
• Conduct regular safety walkabouts and ensure immediate correction of unsafe conditions.
• Participate in incident investigations and support HSE initiatives.
• Maintain 5S standards to keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Track and report production progress including output, challenges, downtime, scrap rate, and labour utilization.
• Prepare weekly updates covering progress of production, manpower deployment, and issues encountered.
• Escalate critical issue, quality deviations, and material shortages in a timely manner.
• Recommend process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor consumables for tools and machine, and critical spare parts to prevent shortages.
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement for timely replenishment.
• Ensure proper storage, usage, and traceability of materials and tools.
• Support annual inventory audits as required.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, and 5S activities within the production area.
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflow, reduce waste, excessive labour cost and improve machine efficiency.
• Collaborate with design and engineering, procurement and QC, on productivity improvement.
