Job summary

DuPont is seeking a manufacturing specialist to transform raw materials into final Vespel products, following the production schedule and quality standards. The role involves hands‑on manufacturing, process documentation, and maintaining effective shift communication.

Responsibilities include supporting safety and quality initiatives, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and final inspection/release of finished parts. A technical diploma and readiness for rotating shifts are preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate should possess a professional certificate or diploma in engineering or related field.
• Willingness to perform rotating shift work and basic maintenance tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Successful candidate is responsible for transforming raw materials into final products per the required production schedule. The successful candidate will acquire hands‑on skills and experience and apply them to routinely manufacture Vespel® products. The Specialist will be responsible for the manufacturing process from raw materials through final inspection and release to the ultimate customer.

Job Responsibilities

• Support operations in safety, quality, continuous improvement, personnel, and supply chain initiatives.
• Perform press setup and operation, including tooling installation/removal, material handling, and process documentation.
• Perform machining activities including turning, milling, coring, and machine setup.
• Study work orders, prints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
• Troubleshoot and rework machined parts when required.
• Operate ovens and related processes, includingcycle verification and documentation.
• Conduct final inspection and release of finishedparts.
• Carry out basic maintenance on manufacturingequipment.
• Responsible for maintaining shift-to-shift communication and documentation.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• Working safely and complying with 5S requirements is a must.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a ProfessionalCertificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding)or equivalent
• Able to perform rotating shift work
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Preferably Technicians specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive, Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent
