Job summary

Seagate International Headquarters Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on production associate to support all stages of the manufacturing process, from equipment setup to final assembly and testing.

You will work with various automatic and semi-automatic machines and contribute to quality, efficiency and timely delivery. The role requires basic English, adaptability, ability to handle parts up to 3 kg, and willingness to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and public holidays in a

Qualifications

• Some experiences in the manufacturing industry an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of English is required.
• Experience in using a microscope will be helpful.
• Be adaptable and willing to take on other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Able to carry work items up to 3kg.
• Standing hours: 2 to 4 hours.
• Willing to work 12-hrs shift; prepared to work on Weekends and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the production process, including equipment set-up and maintenance, production/fabrication, test, production training, and machine/tool making.
• Manage activities in production area(s) including setting up and operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.
• Perform basic electrical tasks as part of the assembly process, contributing to the production of cutting-edge products.
• Contribute to the assembly of components, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver products within specified timelines, maintaining focus on quality and cost efficiency.
• Follow instructions from supervisors meticulously to execute manual tasks, contributing to a smooth workflow.
• Perform process related to Labelling, Packing & Palletizing of Parts, Boxes, Pallet, etc.
• Perform Handling/ Shifting of Parts/ Equipment involving the use of lifting equipment.
