Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore East is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of 50 operators and material handlers, ensuring daily targets and quality standards are met. You will drive scheduling, interviews, and staff orientation to sustain productivity.

The role requires experience in manufacturing with ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, and a proven ability to coordinate across departments to deliver on-time customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ISO 9000 and ISO 14000.
• Experience managing teams of 50+ people.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50 Operators and Material Handlers to meet day-to-day performance targets.
• Work with internal departments to meet on-time delivery and customer requirements.
• Conduct interviews, hire new operators and provide employee orientation.
• Recommend and coordinate changes based on process analysis.
• Responsible for department productivity and quality goals.
• Schedule staff, rotations, training, vacations, overtime, and shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50 Operator and Material Handlers to meet day to day performance targets.
• Work with internal department to meet on time delivery and customer requirements
• Conduct interviews, hire new operators and provide employee orientation
• Recommend and coordinate required changes based on process analysis
• Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals
• Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing industry
• Experience in ISO 9000 and ISO 14000
• Must have experience managing teams of 50 or more people.
