Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a hands-on leader to guide and train a team of Waferfab Operators and Technicians in daily production to meet targets. You will optimize WIP, allocate manpower for peak productivity and plan training for shift deployment flexibility.

You will engage specialists to capture feedback, address human error risks, present daily production indices in module meetings, and work with Engineering to resolve line issues while ensuring safety, discipline and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and train a team of Waferfab Operators and Technicians in daily production to meet targets.
• Optimize WIP management to maximize throughput and linearity.
• Allocate and deploy manpower for optimum productivity.
• Plan manpower training to increase shift deployment flexibility.
• Engage specialists to feedback on performance and identify improvement areas.
• Identify human error risks and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight priorities for Engineering.
• Resolve line-related maintenance issues and liaise with Engineering to implement solutions.
• Ensure safety, discipline, housekeeping and data integrity in the work area.
