Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore seeks an Equipment Engineer to support manufacturing fabs, ensuring equipment readiness and proactive maintenance across shifts. You will analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements to wafer yields and productivity.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 2+ years of relevant fab experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work Normal or Swing shifts in a fast-paced environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant equipment engineering experience.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.
• Perform Normal / Swing Shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support equipment readiness in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of equipment
• Execute maintenance and tool support ensuring equipment readiness
• Troubleshoot and upgrade of equipment ensuring minimize downtime
• Analyze and monitor technical charts
• Drive equipment improvement plans and projects
• Ensure and follow good safety practices and custody of tools, equipments and other properties
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
• Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed
