Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in Singapore, ensuring adherence to cGMP, quality, and safety standards while meeting production targets. The role emphasizes team leadership, process documentation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The incumbent will drive staffing, training, and collaboration with maintenance and QA to sustain efficient operations and compliant performance across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Science/Pharmaceutical/Engineering required or equivalent.
• Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience in cGMP manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years as a people manager in pharmaceutical industry; aseptic processing preferred.
• For Diploma candidates, minimum 6 years of people manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production personnel to meet schedule, output targets and quality goals.
• Plan team activities to ensure adequate staffing and minimal disruption to workflow.
• Lead handovers and ensure safe, concise process documentation and SOPs.
• Lead training and development to build a cohesive professional team.
• Maintain quality/compliance with cGMP standards; assist in audits and QA submissions.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production plans and liaise with maintenance teams.
