Job summary

Illumina in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer 2 to provide technical leadership in sustaining smart manufacturing equipment within a high-volume production environment. You will define and execute preventive maintenance on optical, mechanical, electrical and fluidics systems, and deliver training to Technicians and Engineer I teams while mentoring them for performance and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in relevant engineering fields with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of PLCs (Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley), HMI/SCADA, sensors and actuators.
• Software programming skills in Python, SQL or C#.

Responsibilities

• Complete required training (e.g. GMP, safety and work instructions) within a stipulated time frame.
• Execute tasks strictly following GMP, Quality, Safety and Work instruction requirements.
• Ensure employees follow safety, quality requirements and company policies at all times.
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S of the working area.
• Meet daily production schedule and performance targets.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Technicians and Engineer I team members.
• Lead and mentor a group of team members to meet production KPI and corporate goals.
• Adapt different techniques in technical writing for effective engagement with individuals and teams.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics
