Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a process engineer with a degree in chemical engineering to oversee production scheduling, set process parameters, and drive improvements in product quality and yields.

You will identify and fix causes of throughput issues, implement automation and tooling enhancements, train operators, and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards. Candidates with electroplating experience and knowledge of IATF 16949/ISO 14001 are preferred; strong

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical handling preferred
• Experience in electroplating; knowledge of silver spot plating is an advantage
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 practices
• Proficient with MS Office and able to read AutoCAD drawings
• Independent, proactive and able to work independently
• Able to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee production scheduling


• Evaluate and establish process parameters


• Identify and eliminate sources of failure and to perfect functionality of products


• Define process problems that lead to throughput or quality issues, evaluate cause of problem, implement solutions to stabilize processes, increase production output, reduce production cycle and enhance cost improvement


• Investigate and implement solutions on process or material related problems


• Develop and maintain proper job methods, work instructions, drawings, bill of material etc. for products


• Execute productivity programmes such as process automation, tooling and fixture fabrication or improvement etc.


• Conduct training on equipment operation and maintenance


• Ensure manufacturing objectives are met and initiate continuous improvement activities on product quality, yields and technologies

Position Qualifications and Experience:

• Possess a Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent


• Relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with chemical handling


• Experience in electroplating sector and exposure to Silver Spot plating will be an added advantage.


• Knowledge of statistical methods, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 practices is an advantage


• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications and able to interpret AutoCAD engineering drawing


• Systematic, self-initiative and able to work independently


• Ability to evaluate, diagnose and trouble-shoot problems
