Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Specialist in Singapore to support manufacturing improvements and cross-functional projects. You will analyze processes, support cost-out initiatives, and ensure safe, efficient operations across assemblies, coatings, and production.

The role emphasizes collaboration within business units, hands-on manufacturing experience, and knowledge of quality systems and SPC tools to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturability, lean manufacturing, quality systems, and SPC.
• Hands-on capability with manufacturing, calibration/validation processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and manufacturing processes.
• CNC programming knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes established tools, methods, and technologies to perform routine analyses, while actively supporting team initiatives that drive technological improvements and operational excellence.
• Works together with people from the business unit.
• Collecting or providing technical information.
• Support for Cost Out, Utilization Savings, Product Value initiatives & Plant critical projects as assigned.
• To continue seamless operational support for Assembly, coating process (tech lube/phosphate etc.), Production & Quality functions on day-to-day basis.
• Be responsible for the safety of own self and others while working on site.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for:

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Comfortable to work within a team setting with minimum guidance.
• Have knowledge of design for manufacturability, lean manufacturing techniques, quality system and SPC tools.
• Have hands on capability with good knowledge of manufacturing and calibration/validation processes.
• Be able to interpret engineering drawings/specs and manufacturing processes/evaluation.
• Knowledge of CNC programming will be an advantage
