Job summary

Ambition Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the R&D team, supporting new product development and manufacturing transfer for precision-engineered products and medical technologies.

The role welcomes fresh graduates with exposure to manufacturing or precision engineering, and requires familiarity with CAD tools and reading engineering drawings. Immediate joiners preferred, with a focus on process development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; internship or working experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development (NPI), prototyping, and manufacturing process development.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances to support precision manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth product development and transfer to manufacturing.
• Assist in designing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes, fixtures, tooling, and assembly methods.
• Conduct evaluations, troubleshoot processes, perform testing and validation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, work instructions, and process improvement reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, product quality, and reliability.
