  • Strong jig/fixture design, process validation, and lean manufacturing knowledge.
  • Hands-on production support and issue resolution skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing readiness for new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure smooth transfer into production.
  • Develop and validate robust manufacturing processes for laser drilling applications.
  • Ensure work instructions are in place and accurate for production use.
  • Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve efficiency and repeatability.
  • Analyze workflows and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and cost.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.
  • Provide technical guidance to production technicians to resolve issues quickly.
  • Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure production schedules and customer ship dates are consistently met.
  • Support qualification of OEM End-of-Life (EOL) parts and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Develop qualification plans, execute testing, and document results.
  • Partner with supply chain and quality teams to manage part transitions effectively.

This role is critical in driving New Product Introduction (NPI) transfers, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring seamless production support. Job Duties:
NPI Transfer & Process Development
  • Lead manufacturing readiness for new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure smooth transfer into production.
  • Develop and validate robust manufacturing processes for laser drilling applications.

Process Optimization & Workflow Improvement

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with laser machining or precision processes.
  • Strong knowledge of jig/fixture design, process validation, and lean manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience supporting production teams and resolving technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with laser drilling or micro-machining applications.
  • Familiarity with NPI transfer processes in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of OEM part qualification and lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and statistical process control (SPC).
