Job summary

HME TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to define processes for new projects and to design cutting tools and fixtures for machining operations.

The role involves preparing complete documentation, evaluating processes for quality and cost, supporting production, and driving continuous improvements across KPIs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, with 3–5 years in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering.
• Prior experience in continuous process improvement.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
• Understanding of machining, welding, heat treatment, and API product specs is a strong advantage.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and API audits, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing processes and estimates for new project introductions (RFQs).
• Design and define cutting tools and fixtures to assist the machining process.
• Prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation (CAD drawings, BOM, ECN, Control Plans, WI).
• Evaluate manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, speed and cost.
• Support production troubleshooting and manage delays.
• Promote continuous improvement in key KPIs (Scrap, Efficiency, Cost, Yield, Audits).
• Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies while maximizing quality.
• Train staff on new and existing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, suppliers and teams to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Study and upgrade systems with new technologies.
• Provide continuous technical support to manufacturing and resolve issues.
• Analyze workflows to identify improvements for efficiency and productivity.
• Address engineering challenges to prevent delays and defects.

• Prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation such as CAD Drawings, BOM, ECN, Control Plans, and Working Instructions.

• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, including efficiency, speed, and cost.
• Provide support for production troubleshooting and manage production delays.
• Promote continuous improvement in operational KPIs (Scrap, Efficiency, Cost, Yield, Customer Complaints, Audits, etc.).
• Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies while maximizing quality.
• Train staff in both new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, programmer, suppliers, and team members to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all manufacturing procedures.
• Study and upgrade systems and processes with new technologies.
• Offer continuous technical support to manufacturing, resolving operating and engineering issues encountered during production.
• Analyze manufacturing workflows to identify and implement process improvements that boost efficiency and productivity.
• Address and resolve engineering challenges to prevent production delays and minimize defects.

Requirement

• Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably with at least 3 - 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer or related discipline.
• Prior experience in continuous process improvement
• Proficient in CAD/ CAM software.
• Understanding of machining, welding, heat treatment, and API (American Petroleum Institute) product specifications is a strong advantage.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and API audits, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
