Job summary

RN CARE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled engineer to review drawings and specifications, and provide engineering support to resolve manufacturing issues.

You will liaise with customers to confirm requirements and propose solutions, while estimating cycle-time for machining and coordinating with Sales. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Precision Engineering with at least 3 years in the precision industry and proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in the precision industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings, specifications and BOM to understand technical requirements.
• Provide engineering expertise to resolve and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Liaise with internal and external customers on requirements and propose solutions.
• Estimate machining cycle-time and submit to Sales team.
• Provide technical advice to Sales, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
• Prepare markup drawings and detailed subcon scopes for Purchasing.
• Assess in-house capability, feasibility and cycle-time.
• Other duties as assigned
