Job summary

PerkinElmer in Singapore is seeking an engineering professional to develop, implement and maintain manufacturing processes and release new products, interfacing with design engineering.

You will ensure product yield and quality, support transfers, NPIs, cost-saving initiatives, Industry 4.0 projects, and maintain ISO documentation, while driving continuous improvement across BOMs, routings and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing process development and optimization.
• Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 audits.
• Ability to support product transfer, NPI and cost-saving initiatives.
• Awareness of Industry 4.0 concepts and digital manufacturing.

Job description

Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub‑assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
