PerkinElmer is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequences and processes for manufacturing parts and assemblies. You will coordinate with design engineering on new product releases and estimate costs, time standards and tooling needs while maintaining robust records for operations.

The Principal Manufacturing Engineer develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub‑assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
Knowledge in analytical instruments like Atomic Spectroscopy and instrument automation platform
Knowledge in ISO 13485 and ISO 9001
Good oral and written communication
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze and develop, communicate and improve business processes and systems
Ability to lead change and establish operational metrics and key indicators for process control, communication and performance improvement
