Job summary

Philips Batam factory is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer - Digital Transformation to drive the digital roadmap. You will lead end-to-end digital projects, build dashboards, and implement automated workflows that enable timely, data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes Lean/Six Sigma, data visualization, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/operations/engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with low-code platforms (Power Platform) and/or programming with SQL/Python.
• Ability to collect, analyse and visualise data and build dashboards (Power BI).
• Familiarity with AI/ML and AI agents to automate tasks.
• Understanding of MES, ERP/SAP and shopfloor connectivity.
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong communication, documentation and user training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the factory's digital transformation roadmap by identifying improvement opportunities and recommending solutions.
• Leads or delivers digital projects end-to-end, from requirements to deployment, training and reporting.
• Develops and integrates manufacturing systems, dashboards, applications and automated workflows.
• Applies Lean and Six Sigma methods to analyse processes and measure impact.
